1. All scheduled games will be played according to MAHA/USA Hockey playing rules.

2. All scheduled games will be played according to the schedule published at the West Michigan Adray Playoff Scheduling meeting. There are no exceptions.  If a team fails to participate in any playoff games, the head coach and coaching staff will be suspended from league play the following season as per the Greater West Michigan By-laws.

3. All teams are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to any scheduled playoff game.

4. All Protested games must be noted on the score sheet and must follow the guidelines as set in the Greater West Michigan By-Laws.

5. All games will be played using the following rules. There are no running clocks allowed. There are no Time-outs.

                      Mites     3-10 Minute Periods
                    Squirts     3-10 Minute Periods
                 Pee Wee     3-12 Minute Periods
                 Bantams     3-14 Minute Periods
                  Midgets     3-15 Minute Periods

6. There will be no overtime in single elimination games.  If the game ends in a tie, the team which is the highest rank will advance into the next round.

7.  All championship games must be played to a final determination.  If at the end of regulation time of a championship game the teams are tied, the tie shall be broken as followed.

      a. Three, five (5) minute sudden death overtime periods will be played. The teams will not change ends.

      b. If after 3 overtimes periods the game is still tied, there will be a five(5) minute rest period and the game will proceed in another round of three (5) minute sudden death overtime periods and teams will not change ends.

     c. If after a total of six (6) overtime periods the game is still tied another game will be scheduled by the Vice President/ West Michigan. The cost of this game will be shared by both teams.
